This reads the record twice: straight from the domain's own nameservers, bypassing every cache, and again through two public caching resolvers. If the two views match, the edit is live. If they don't, we show how many seconds those cached copies have left. That is two resolvers sampled, not every resolver on the internet: each other resolver keeps its own copy until its own timer runs out.
